Our Wedding Vows

Is it true that the first year's wedding gift is supposed to be paper?  I thought it was, and so for our first wedding anniversary this past summer, I typed our wedding ceremony and vows in the shape of heart and gave it to Ryan.  I finally got around to framing and hanging the words this week, and I love it!

Ryan was nice enough to paint the hallway for me. We used Sherwin Williams Latte, the same color that we recently painted the living room.  For a tutorial on typing words in the shape of a heart, check out my post from last summer. After I wrote that post, I found a tutorial that involved using one of the microsoft programs. The method was much easier than what I ended up doing, but unfortunately, I can't find that particular tutorial.  So if you know of an easy method for making words take shape, please share it in the comments!

In other news, our nursery furniture arrives in 4 days!! I can't wait to see it all set up!!
